Alexandra Roggero

Alex Roggero is Generation Z’s Carrie Bradshaw…but Mexican and Cuban, with a stupid expensive degree in postcolonial theory. She’s the author of four collections of prose and poetry, most notably The Town (2015), and La Matriarca (2023), and currently works in TV development. She is the founder of Poetry for the Masses, a collective and poetry workshop series for writers of all levels that takes place every single month in Los Angeles, and the owner of Guerita Vintage. She hopes that her work will make you so soft, you dissolve.

Vittorio Roggero

Vittorio Roggero has lived a lot of life. After traveling the world as a financial professional for 30+ years, falling in love a few times and raising a family, suffering and failing, and trying new things–he’s learned a lot. Now, alongside his daughter Alex, he’s trying to figure out what it all means, in Life and the Bitter Truth. Offering listeners a space to embrace vulnerability and find shared human experience, this podcast is for anyone seeking to understand the deeper, sometimes painful aspects of life, and how we can grow and find meaning in that process.
